Mploy Healthcare, having identified critical shortages of staff in the care industry decided to launch Mploy Healthcare training academy. The Academy training will run from Mploy’s Head office training centre in Poole.
Mploy Healthcare Training Academy is available to anyone who would like to start a career within the Health & Social Care industry by offering a comprehensive training programme and ongoing support.
Since 2011 Mploy Healthcare have been supporting clients across the whole South West providing Healthcare Assistants, Registered Nurses and other Allied Healthcare staff across many care sectors including: Residential Care Homes, Nursing Homes, Hospices, Hospitals, Day Centres, Rehabilitation Centres, Supported Living, Schools. Mploy Healthcare currently operates from Christchurch and Salisbury with further plans for new office locations.
Social care is about supporting people to maintain their independence, dignity and control. This includes providing personal and practical support to help people live their lives. Social care workers could be supporting someone with a range of disabilities, dementia or mental health conditions. A career in social care offers long-term employment prospects, with opportunity for promotion and progression as well as job security.
Mark Nash, Co-founder of Mploy says: “The care industry has always suffered severe staffing shortages but this year this has become even more apparent during Covid-19 pandemic. Also, we are mindful of challenges related to the new Brexit immigration rules and therefore we decided that it was important that we look at opportunities we can take to support the industry as well as to grow Mploy.”
