A varied and multi-disciplined position has become available working for a leading British family owned manufacturer based in Wincanton
The role requires someone who can wear two hats, as follows:
As a member of the design team, you will be responsible for creating quotations and Electrical designs for client projects, ensuring all designs meet the required technical standards and safety requirements. You will be responsible for accurately specifying components and creating detailed BOMs.
You will also provide technical support to external clients, Internal Sales Office and Area Sales Managers.
Day to day on the design side you would be preparing quotes & technical drawings / schematics using AutoCAD, configuring test equipment, maintaining the design and test database and helping to support the business with (NPD).
You’ll need an electrical qualification, AUTOCAD knowledge/experience and significant employment history as panel designer and builder.
The role is full time, office based – they offer 25 days annual leave, a quarterly profit related bonus scheme and generous pension contributions.
