Mploy Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Van Driver for our client based in Christchurch. This is an ongoing position that requires daily journeys across the UK, with destinations including Swansea, Kent, and Ipswich.
We welcome applicants with prior van-driving experience and a clean, full British Driving License. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a company van (3.5-ton) and assisting with order preparation and vehicle loading. As a representative of the company, it’s important that the candidate is well-presented and professional.
Responsibilities include:
Completing long-distance deliveries across the UK in a timely and safe manner.
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
Loading and unloading goods, ensuring accuracy and care with all items.
Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
Following all road safety regulations and company procedures.
Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Key Details:
Days and Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM (48 hours per week)
Starting Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate
