A growing online retailer is looking to expand their team and employ a talented and proactive Purchasing Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who has huge potential for future growth, offering a friendly office environment, free healthy snacks, fruit and drinks and other benefits.

Duties will include:

  • Responsibility for ensuring a high level of service when online orders are processed
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are due to arrive in full and on time
  • Proactively communicate any delays with customers
  • Raise and resolve delivery discrepancies
  • Raise carrier claims
  • Carry out adhoc administrative tasks when required

Personal attributes needed:

  • You will need to have some experience in administration
  • You will need to be analytical and able to demonstrate high levels of attention to detail
  • You will also be highly proficient in all Microsoft applications especially Excel
  • You will need to have an excellent telephone manner and be assertive when resolving issues with suppliers
