Packing Operatives Wanted – Dorchester
We are currently recruiting Packing Operatives for a well-established local client based in Dorchester. Ongoing work is available from summer until early winter, with potential temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidates.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable individuals looking for stable weekday hours, weekly pay, and the chance to secure a longer-term role.
What’s on offer:
– £13.00 per hour.

– Standard hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm.
– No weekend working.
– Ongoing work from summer until early winter.

– Overtime available during busy periods.

– Immediate starts may be available.
Please note other shift may be introduced for a special project
Those may include:
06:00 – 14:00
10:00 – 18:00
12:00 – 20:00
14:00 – 22:00
The role will involve:
– Selecting and packing products accurately.
– Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
– Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and safe.
– Following instructions and procedures correctly.
– Working as part of a team to support smooth production.
– Helping to meet daily production targets and KPIs.
– Maintaining a good pace in a busy production environment.
We’re looking for people who have:
– Good attention to detail.
– Basic maths skills.
– The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Good communication skills.
– A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
– Reliability and a strong work ethic.
– Previous manufacturing, packing, or production experience would be desirable, but is not essential.
