Mploy Staffing Solutions Ltd is looking to source a permanent Part Time Massage Therapist to join our client’s team in Dorchester, Dorset.

• a pay rate starting at £13.04 p/h. Need more? Our client is completely open to finding the right pay during the recruitment process. Expect take home earnings of at least £10,849.28 to £21,698.56 (16hrs to 32hrs per week).
• a flexible contract. Our client can offer 16hr to 32hr contracts, for the right candidate, and can offer days of work including Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.
• 10% commission on product sales – more details available on request.

Still interested? Our client is looking for a candidate who:

• is a qualified Massuer/Masseuse with relevant professional experience. You will hold a L2,L3 or L4 Diploma in Massage, Sports Massage Therapy or in Complementary Therapies (MTI, Active IQ, ITEC, FHT, VTCT accredited etc) with a demonstrated history of providing well thought of, safe and effective massages in a professional context.
• has delivered Swedish, Sports & Deep Tissue specialities in the past. Experience in Aromatherapy, Baby, Pregnancy, Thai, Shiatsu, Hot Stone & Indian Head massage certainly wouldn’t hurt but aren’t a necessity!
• wants to deliver impeccable guest service, exceeding expectations, whilst offering a world class experience. You’ll have excellent customer service skills, love working with people and are comfortable at making guests feel at ease.
• is consultative & an active listener, you’ll consult with clients to determine problem areas focusing thus during treatment.
• is physically fit and can deliver effective/heavy pressure especially for Deep Tissue/Sports treatments.
• is comfortable providing treatments in line with company and brand partner standards –you will be expected to have a complete knowledge of all treatments/products and might even have some ideas on how our client can offer more diverse treatments.
• believes in being immaculate. Not only will you present yourself in the smartest manner but you will keep your treatment rooms sparkling clean and report any maintenance or housekeeping issues in a timely manner.
• is an articulate communicator with a great standard of written and spoken English. You will liaise with a genuine warmth and knowledge of Spa services/products and won’t be afraid of prescribing products/making professional recommendations to Spa guests. You’ll take a hostilic approach referring guests to allied medical professionals, if needed.
• is well organised, target driven and a natural multitasker who always remains calm in hectic situations. You won’t struggle following procedures and will be flexible in supporting the Spa operation in line with guest need.
• is system savvy and IT literate with a basic Microsoft Office competence.
