We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic Business Development & Sales Executive for a well-established successful media sales organisation. Entrepreneurial spirit required with a passion for closing deals and achieving results. You will be liaising with current, lapsed and new customers to promote the business of this organisation who are market leaders in their field. Foreign travel is available for those that want it.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • to source new business by calling potential clients
  • making contact with named person responsible for advertising & marketing
  • establishing and quantifying that potential advertiser is relevant to product
  • sending out all relevant information to potential clients and following up within agreed timescales
  • keeping accurate records of all calls in the approved manner
  • to prepare adequately for meetings and providing sales figures, forecasted sales figures, quotations, personal and company targets or any other data required
  • to communicate effectively in writing via email/fax as appropriate to needs of the international audience
  • to travel to international Trade Exhibitions when required.
  • to manage and maintain new and existing client accounts
  • building and maintaining business relationships, listening to clients’ requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
  • making accurate, rapid cost calculations and negotiating with clients over telephone and in person
  • recommending appropriate packages for advertising, depending on medium being used.
  • processing all correspondence and paperwork relating to accounts.
  • Review own sales performance and flag up any potential training needs
  • Meet monthly budget targets to achieve/earn commission
