Job Purpose:
Ensures the highest levels of stock availability through working collaboratively to facilitate the smooth flow of the purchase order process. Works in partnership with the wider Supply Chain team to continuously improve performance, striving to exceed internal and external customers’ expectations and requirements.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Daily purchase order management – Key contact to facilitate the smooth flow of the purchase order process, proactively responding to and resolving queries; works closely with the warehouse teams to ensure complete and timely stock receipts
  • UK & European stock management –Analyses stock and sales to ensure accurate forecasting; confirms availability; suggests and raises stock orders; monitors the progress of purchase orders to completion, highlighting risks and expediting as necessary to secure future stock availability; working with the wider team to effect improvement
  • Forecasting – Reviews historical sales trends, researches demand drivers, prepares forecast data, develops statistical forecast models, and evaluates forecast results to improve forecast accuracy for 2000+ SKUs

Required Skills:
  • Experience of working with forecasts / supply chain planning or similar
  • A demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods, with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
  • 2+ years’ experience of working within a demand planning environment
