MPLOY is looking to source a full time/permanent Sales Administrator to join our Client’s team just outside of Dorchester.

Why should you be interested? Our Client is offering:

  • An annual salary of £22,000 to £25,000 dependant on your experience.
  • Full time and permanent work. You can expect to work Monday to Friday with a 39 hour per week contract. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 0830 – 1700 and Friday 0830 – 1600.
  • 33 days of annual leave per year (including Bank Holidays). Our Client does shutdown over the Christmas/New Year period so all employees are asked to retain 5 days holiday thus, subject to bank holidays.

Still interested? In return for these excellent benefits our Client is looking for a candidate who:

  • will be responsible for all processes relating to the sales administration of our Client’s highly engineered products. You can expect to raise, process and manage all sales documents including opportunities, quotations, Sales Orders (SOs) and sales returns using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Not experienced in Dynamics? Not to worry, our Client is looking for a candidate who has previous experience using any business management system e.g Sage etc.
  • won’t mind assisting with other processes including: setting up new customers/contacts; managing a distributor list; raising and managing pro-forma invoices and raising Purchase Orders (POs).
  • likes to ‘chase up’ and see things through to completion. You can expect to follow up on opportunities and quotes whilst gathering customer feedback to relay to the production & R&D teams.
  • is a relationship builder and a clear/efficient communicator. You can expect to build functional and highly productive relationships with potential/current customers whilst also keeping current customers regularly updated on their orders. You can expect to manage the office inbox and other queries in a prompt and efficient manner using your excellent customer service/rapport building skills. You certainly won’t be afraid of answering the office telephone in a professional manner!
  • is a team player. You can also expect to work collaboratively with a number of internal stakeholders in collating data, attending meetings, preparing presentations and producing reports. You’ll also be expected to work safely with company values always in mind.
  • is flexible and a good organiser who is able to multitask/reprioritise at short notice. You can also expect to provide wider admin support and assist with company ISO audits.
  • has an eye for detail – you’ll produce quality work using your own initiative.
  • has good core Microsoft Office skills including experience using Word, Excel and Outlook.
