Working within the Production Engineering department you will be developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing operation together with ensuring all plant and equipment is fully operational.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Lead production projects.
Ensure production processes operate correctly at all times.
Generate and update work instructions.
Compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
Production operator training.
Ensure all plant and equipment operates in accordance with required standards, liaison with contractors.
Support company production requirements at all times.
Support product updates and new product introduction.
You will need:
Proven production engineering experience within a medium volume manufacturing company.
Lean manufacturing experience.
Methodical approach to problem solving.
Computer literate and with some AutoCAD experience.
Organised and self-motivated individual with initiative.
Flexible and able to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Additional Advantageous Experience:
HNC/D in Production Engineering, or equivalent.
Leading successful lean manufacturing initiatives/projects.
Electromechanical assembly experience.
