Due to an increase in business levels our client, a local manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced individual for this new role of PA to the MD and HR Practitioner.
You will provide full PA support to the MD including:
Running diaries and meeting calendars across several businesses.
Being first point of contact for customers over the phone and face to face.
Booking travel and accommodation.
Preparing own correspondence.
Arranging meetings and taking bullet point minutes.
Production of reports and presentations.
Heading up the HR function you will:
Be responsible for all recruitment, working closely with department managers.
Raising contracts for new starters.
Advertising vacancies and liaising with applicants.
Managing HR issues as they arise.
You will need:
Previous experience of working as a PA at senior level.
Be part or fully qualified CIPD.
Experience in a stand-alone HR role.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Be fully conversant with the Microsoft packages.
Based in Christchurch working Monday to Thursday 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Friday 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. (37-hour week) with competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 4 x Death in Service benefit, pension and free parking.
