Our client, a well respected food manufacturer in Somerset, is looking for a Multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their growing business. Successful applicants will have a proven track record of improving processes, increasing reliability and counteracting inefficiencies.

 

Job Role:

  • Diagnosing faults
  • Repair, service and maintenance of site machinery
  • Searching for improved methods of maintenance
  • Carry out planned engineering tasks
  • Overcome challenges and look for more efficient alternatives
  • Follow management instructions
  • Daily checks of machinery
  • Reporting on potential machinery issues

 

Attributes Required:

  • Strong communicator
  • Strong background in Mechanical engineering
  • Problem solving
  • Good time management skills

Monday – Friday (1 in 4 weekends worked)
