IT Helpdesk Engineer – Bournemouth – Permanent
The salary is between 25,000-30,000, working hours are 8.30-5.30 Monday-Friday!

Do you want to get stuck into actual projects, supervisory responsibilities and most importantly, not listen to whinging people like me on the phone going “owwwww all I did was click on this clearly legitimate email link from a Prince offering me $5million in Bitcoin”?
If the answer is yes, then the Helpdesk Engineer role we’ve got on is probably quite an attractive option to you.
You’ll be proactive, a doer, unflappable and most importantly, patient with the customers on the end of the phone who won’t have as much IT knowledge as you….to put it mildly!
You’ll prioritise and manage the workflow of customer issues, delegating ticket enquiries and issues to 2nd Line and 3rd Line engineers, to rectify these issues either remotely, or on-site. Most of their clients are extremely local to Bournemouth town centre but you’ll more than likely need your own transport for the role, just in case you need to zip up the road and sort out Sharon from Accounts’ hard drive after she accidentally wiped all company info whilst sharing a Facebook post on her tea break.
No formal qualifications or certification is required, all necessary training will be given.
If you do have experience in an IT Support Role where you’ve worked with Office 365/MS Exchange Server you’d be ideal as that’s what most of their clients use. (including us)
