Mploy Staff – Recruitment Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Salisbury, Southampton,Dorchester & Andover

Duties include:

 

• Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns and carpentry
• Buildings fabrics repair, minor repairs,
• Water pipes system installation, repairs
• Undertaking basic gardening, Garden/landscape installation and maintenance
• Fitting shelves, hanging pictures and installing window locks
• Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
• Clearing or cleaning general areas
• Shifting furniture or equipment
• Assembling furniture or equipment
• Painting and decorating
• Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shovelling snow)
• Identify and report the need for major repairs

The individual will also demonstrate the following skills:

 

• Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance workers
• Being resourceful and self-motivated
• Capable of working with machinery or moving heavy equipment using safe Manuel Handling techniques
• Able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Self-motivated to work alone when required but to also work as part of a team
• Good communication
