I am recruiting on behalf of a fantastic business in Yeovil who are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to join their Accounts team on a permanent, part time basis.

Job duties include:

  • Enter all incoming invoices onto Construction Manager in an accurate and timely manner
  • Review expense claims and individual credit card claims to ensure VAT has been calculated correctly and enter them accurately onto Construction Manager so employees to be reimbursed in a timely manner
  • Compile monthly credit card reconciliation spread sheets for the company Amex and MasterCard’s and actively chase in the VAT receipts
  • Raise purchase orders and invoices
  • Provide administrative support in order to facilitate the smooth running of the business
  • Keep abreast of changes to financial regulations and legislation and ensure that these are reflected in working practices and procedures
  • Follow and comply with all policies and procedures including Health and Safety procedures, ensuring personal safety and the safeguarding of the interests and safety of all staff, visitors, and contractors
  • Carry out other duties relevant to your post as reasonably required by the Accounts Assistant and Management

Skills required for this role;

  • Working knowledge of Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail/accuracy
  • Well organised
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Knowledge of Construction Manager is also desired
