Salary: £20000 - £25000 per annum
Applications are invited from candidates with experience in Bookkeeping, Payroll and Electronic submission of VAT returns for one of Dorchester’s local companies.
You should be proficient in MS Office, Xero and Quickbooks and Sage along with a good knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, Payroll procedures including SSP/SMP etc, Auto enrolment and tax deductible expenses.
The main responsibilities are:
Management of the bookkeeping process from requesting client books and records to processing year end journals
Management of Payroll including setting up payroll processes, posting figures and resolving queries
Auto Enrolment including setting up and processing and query resolution
VAT Returns including preparation and submission and query resolution
You should also be a good team player, be meticulous in your attention to detail, willing to attend training courses and be ambitious in helping to grow the business.
