Are you a nurturing, experienced early years professional with a passion for supporting babies through their earliest stages of development? We’re looking for a dedicated Baby Room Supervisor to join our client’s warm and welcoming team!
About the Role:
As Baby Room Supervisor, you will lead the care and development of children aged 3 to 16 months in a safe, stimulating, and loving environment. You will be responsible for creating strong bonds with babies and their families, guiding a small team of practitioners, and ensuring the highest standards of care in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee the daily running of the baby room, maintaining a calm and nurturing atmosphere.
– Provide high-quality, responsive care and tailored developmental support.
– Lead and support a team of baby room practitioners.
– Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed.
– Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
– Keep accurate records of each child’s progress and well-being.
What We’re Looking For:
– Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
– Proven experience working with babies under 18 months.
– Leadership or supervisory experience in a nursery setting.
– Warm, patient, and highly organised, with a deep understanding of infant development.
– Clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
