Administrator – Portland

Due to company growth our client, an international boat manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Administrator to join their procurement team.

This is initially for a 6-month period but may be extended or go permanent.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting Production requirements to ensure build deadlines are met.

Your duties will include:
Liaise with supplies and internal teams including purchasing and stores.
Update computer systems including Excel and SAP.
Produce daily shortage reports showing current status of open orders.
Update Production Manager re status of critical items and future material requirements.
Keep Buyer informed of any relevant delivery issues and escalate if revised dates have been missed.

You will need:
Previous experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment.
Excel skills plus ideally SAP.
Excellent communication skills.
Can demonstrate tenacity in achieving results.
Able to build relationships internally with production and warehouse teams and externally with suppliers.

Based in Portland, working Monday to Friday 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with pay rate of 9.99 per hour (20,779).
