Due to company growth our client, a fast-growing manufacturing company based in Lymington, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team to assist with day to day invoicing and credit control functions.
Your duties will include:
Ensuring accurate allocation to the Sales Ledger.
Producing customer statements.
Credit control, including the monitoring of customer credit limits.
Chasing overdue accounts.
Dealing with customer queries.
Assisting Financial Controller with monthly reports.
Reconciling project balances between Sage and Purchase/Sales order system.
You will need:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Sage and Excel skills.
Excellent telephone manner as regular contact with customers.
Ability to prioritise workload during busy times, particularly month end.
Working Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with an hour for lunch plus salary of 18,500 to 20,000, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and free parking.
